Apple computers are produced by an American Multinational Corporation called Apple Inc. that manufactures and markets computer software, personal computers and electronics. Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak, on 1ST April, 1976 produced the Apple I computer and introduced Apple computers. There was a 3rd Apple computers founder Steve Wayne. The Apple I computer was the very first computer that used just a sole circuit board and this foremost computer with graphical user interface was called the Apple Lisa. It was produced by Xerox Corporation at Palo Research Center. When Steve Jobs visited the Palo Research Center he felt extremely impressed and inspired when he saw the first computer designed with a GUI by Xerox Alto. Based on this technology Steve Jobs incorporated the new Apple Lisa.

Apple computers domination of the personal computer market began in the 1970’s with the invention of Apple II and rediscovered the PCs in 1980 with Mac Computers (mactonish). Apple is thoroughly inclined in bringing products of personal computing to educators, scientists, students, engineers, designers, consumers and business persons in over all 140 countries across the globe for this purpose Apple Inc. reinvested 5% of its sales in 1998 for research and development. There are large number of difference between Mac Apple computers (Mac) and a Common PC. Both of them have their own merits and demerits. A common PC uses Microsoft Windows while Mac is a trademark computer of the Apple Company. Apple Computers were introduced much after the Normal PCs and because of that the numbers of users of Microsoft windows computers is much more than Apple computers. Many people claim that Macs have stolen the ideas of the Microsoft windows whereas on the other side computer geeks say that Mac is much superior to the windows based PC’s. The biggest merit that PCs have over Mac computers is the capability to build computer keeping all the consumer requirements in mind. Window bases PCs can be customized meaning thereby that the consumer can select the speed, graphics accelerator, color, memory and other components.

Apple has moved into much bigger markets like the cell phone industry. The Apple iPod, iPhone and newest iPad are all products that Apple produces. Apple was ridiculed when duct tape fixed a problem with their iPhone 4. Steve Wozniak made headlines when his Toyota vehicle accelerated unexpectedly.

Mac users claim that people who thoroughly know computer are Mac lovers. Mac uses highly sophisticated and complex software for doing various activities and the level of computer security is much higher than the windows based PCs. It is merely a misconception that Mac is difficult to operate and understand but the truth is that Mac computers are much easier to understand and operate. Apple Inc. focuses on giving its consumers the most developed and futuristic software and technology possible, since they have lesser number of users. There are some very innovative and distinctive applications that can only be used on Mac and this is undeniably a better thing. The Mac users belong to an aristocratic high end market and they specialize in operating highly sophisticated and advanced software. Mac users show that they are the people who operate their computers for complex work using sounds, visuals, graphics and movies. With Mac consumers are assured of excellence in computer performance and quality.
