Please make sure to explain in detail your problems with Wally World. We love to hear what you have to say.
Contact Wal-Mart CEO “The HIGH Cost Of Low Prices!”
Digital healthcare is coming our way, and we can’t stop it! As part of Obama’s health care reform, he wants to modernize digital healthcare by providing digital medical records. Will this be an easy job? Not really, considering the fact that less than 10% of all the nations 5000 hospitals aren’t equipped for this type of digital healthcare. Only a small percentage of today’s physicians currently provide digital medical records for their patients. This plan will not be cheap. Switching to an all digital healthcare system will cost
billions of dollars. And who is going to pay for all of this? Okay. So over 200,000 jobs could be created as a result of a digital health care system-but at the expense of whose wallet?
Long before the presidential election, Wal-Mart was exploring digital health care options. Wal-Mart plans to team up with Dell computers and e-clinical works for software. With this innovative program of software, hardware, and training- the need for health information technology suppliers will be cut in half. The idea presented by Wal-Mart is a money saving deal for all physicians.Wal-mart is no stranger for this technology. Since 2006, they have opened up healthcare clinics in 8 of their stores-practicing digital healthcare. Wal-Mart plans to offer digital healthcare technology to physicians at an affordable cost.
Why is there a push for digital health care? Why does our president want every American to have a digital healthcare record by the year 2014? Perhaps it’s the only way to overhaul the healthcare system. Obama claims that switching to digital healthcare would save billions of dollars and perhaps create thousands of jobs in a suffering economy. Can moving to digital healthcare really lead to fewer mistakes? While Obama claims that a digital healthcare system could lower health care costs for Americans, there are others who may not agree. The cost for upgrading to a digital healthcare system could cost a doctor or small practice as much as 124,000. And then throw in the costs for maintaining the system and it may not be worth the money poured into it.
And here’s major concern-patient privacy. How safe is your personal information if all of it is stored on a computer? Is having a digital healthcare system worth the risk of someone who shouldn’t be snooping reading all of your personal and medical history? How safe and secure would our information be if we were forced to use a digital healthcare system? A hospital recently fired 15 of their
employees for reading digital healthcare records-illegally. Without the proper protection, our privacy would definitely be infringed upon. A digital health care system with digital medial records could be a good thing, but it could also turn sour. There is much controversy over the idea of digital healthcare. Although it seems to work for Wal-Mart, that doesn’t mean all Americans will
buy into this. And just how much money will taxpayers have to pay for this new system? Will taxes be raised? Only time
will tell.
