Dear Mr. Moynihan (Bank Of America CEO),
I bought a condo in July 2007, and within a month I had my first raw sewage episode which poured into my home via the tub, toilet and dishwasher — which happened on and off for two years. This left me at risk for hepatitis and many other dangerous diseases and bacteria. Things got worse, culminating into a 2+ day raw sewage overflow — leaving me and my pets essentially homeless for a few days. During this time, I was also dealing with second-hand smoke issues that gave me sore throats every day for two years — and it resulted in my beloved pet being diagnosed with nasal lymphoma (which is exacerbated by second-hand smoke in pets). That cost me all of my (small) 401K and savings, putting him through a barage of chemo treatments and other appointments. There have been many insect infestations, along with rental tenant problems, threats, trash and building negligence, etc. I have two mortgages which are under water, and I pay real estate taxes and condo fees to live like I’m in a Third World country. My property value has plummeted, and I haven’t had a raise in over 5 years. This has seriously affected my mental health and overall health. I don’t have much hope of getting justice, and friends and others are saying I should look into foreclosure. As a professional business woman, notary public, and non-profit volunteer, I do not enjoy hearing that I will not get justice or out of this place unless I completely ruin my credit (e.g., foreclosure, bankruptcy, etc.).

I am so very tired, scared and frustrated. I’ve tried contacting all kinds of people and organizations for help, including my local politicians (including Mayor Menino, City Councillor LaMattina, and State Rep. Basile). With the help of others, I’ve also contacted the media with few results (but I’m still trying). I also contacted Bank of America (who holds my mortgages)–and your bank told me they don’t deem me worthy of help because I pay my bills on time. They also said that if I stop paying on time, they will deem me with ‘malintent’ (or something like that). I was on the board of directors for a non-profit that supports homeless children and families, and the former CEO spent a year and a half trying to ‘champion’ me. We finally found someone to take my case on a contingent basis, but after all this time he still hasn’t gotten us a court date and he tells me that I may get a little money but that it will be difficult to get my mortgages rescinded. I’m not looking to get rich through all of this, but really need to get out of this nightmare of a place. There is no peace, no sense of safety (especially after one of the Trustees told me I would have “ten enemies in the building” if I go ahead with a court case), and no enjoyment of my home. Ellen:

The Manhattan home address for David Cote (CEO of Honeywell) seems to be a rental or a lease, so we have removed it and updated it with the correct information. The correct home address for Honeywell’s C.E.O. David M. Cote and his wife Linda is:

2 Whittredge Rd. Summit, New Jersey 07901
which he purchased in January of 2004 for $2,300,000 and which I have
verified through the Union County Assessor.
In addition, it seems that he recently purchased
7865 Route 82 Pine Plains, New York 12567
on July 15, 2010 for $3,000,000
which I have verified through several sources.

These 2 properties are the only properties that I can find for David M.
Cote. It does not mean that these are his only properties, but I can find
no record of the land deal in Morristown, New Jersey of which you speak.
As well, I can find no link between somebody by the name of David Koty
(nor Maureen) and Honeywell.

I hope this information helps you out to some extent.

Good evening,

I am on a quest which may be futile and pointless; but I’m going to try anyhow.

I am a small town person trying to sell my deceased parents home.
I think David M. Cote, CEO of Honeywell, is trying to buy it. A David Cote recently
purchased 194 acres at the bottom of the hill from my parents home. Purchasing my
parents home would allow him to put a more convenient access road into the property
than is currently there.

There was a group of extremely wealthy individuals who last year invited all of the
neighbors on my parents’ street (all areas which provide access to the 194 acres
purchased by Mr. Cote) to a cocktail party. This cocktail party was nothing more
than a reuse to get the neighbors together in order to try to get one of them to
sell their home for an access road.

What do I hope in writing to you? Knowledge through information.
-Are there other names that Mr. Cote is legally able to go by? Do you know them?

The information I have is that the
interested buyer is a man named ‘David Koty’. I was told Mr Koty works for
Honeywell. Doesn’t this seem an odd coincidence to you?

-My search shows Mr. Cote has been
married twice. On your website: contacttheceo.com his wife
listed as Linda. Is this his current wife?

-The address Mr. Cote listed on our towns tax roll is 101 Columbia Rd., Morristown
NJ 07960. The one
given on your website is a Manhatten address. Does Mr. Cote have more than one
address?

I know there is more than 1 David Cote in the world. As I wrote in the beginning of
this email, the quest to find out who Mr. Cote is when my gut is telling me my
family’s almost 300 year old property and home as well as the equally old
neighborhood is about to be ripped to shreds so that this man can make a more
convenient driveway to his 194 acres propels me to try!!! If Mr. Koty is really Mr.
Cote of Honeywell I need to know. I need to know so that I know who I am up against
if he tries to force me to sell my property to him.
I also want to know who Mr. ‘Koty’ who works at Honeywell and his wife Maureen are.
I’d love to find out that they are as they are presenting themselves…..just
‘regular’ people from ‘the city’ (Manhatten) who just want a nice home in the
country. Oh Boy. I tried to believe those words I just wrote; but I don’t!

Let me elaborate:

After 14 years on the site, “moderators” decided that published statistical data from the FBI and DOJ was grounds for account termination.

It is understood that Moderators are necessary and that offensive information is not acceptable, but links to public statistics?

Yahoo is over-run by socialists and liberals who use their authority to silence speech without responsibility.

Time to bail this crapper and move to Google or Comcast. Nothing on Yahoo worth the effort.

I am looking at this website in order to write and contact to the CEO of Bank of America. I have been in the process of trying to get a loan modification for a year now. I have been sending vertuallyl the same information over and over and over again to the “modification department” and only hear back that they want more information….usually the same information again. In this whole process, my credit has been badly damaged. You see, they will have you sign a Trial period” contract and then report you as in default of your loan to the credit bureau if you pay the amount in the trial modification. I am a person who has been struggling to keep afloat, borrowing money from family and whatever I can do to pay my mortgage and not ruin my credit. I am trying to modify so I don’t go into default. As a result of this process, my credit is ruined, and I still don’t have any word back from Bank of America…..I just called again today and they tell me they need yet again more information.

I am so frustrated and basically very hopeless (isn’t that funny–it’s called the “hope line” when you call in to find out about your modification….) and soon will not be able to pay my mortgage and will be in default and need to move. I want to contact the CEO of Bank of America in hopes that something will happen to hasten this process and that someone can see what’s really going on with these modifications. Is there any one else out there having this issue with Bank of America and does anyone have any advice?

I had the horrible misfortune to be a subscriber of DISH Network services. It was a bundled package offered by Embarq Communications in SW Florida (now called Century). From day one the DISH service was horrible, we lost a signal rain or shine. On day of install I was told I had to sign an 18 month contract and also to pay an additional fee of $200 for a switch in order for the three dual receivers I purchased to work. I was told when I placed my order I had to buy the receivers as they were not leased. After over two years of lousy service, I could take it no longer so switched to Comcast, a lot more expensive but at least it works. The next month I received a letter and bill from DISH welcoming me to them as a new customer. I called the idiots to explain I disconnected my service and did not owe them a bill. They then lied and told me I had to send back my receivers as they were leased to me not sold. No one would listen to me and no one from DISH could show me a bill or a statement proving I did not buy the receivers. I sent a certified return receipt letter to Charles Ergen the CEO, got delivery confirmation and that was it. Ergen did not have anyone contact me. Instead all they did was ignore my emails and letters and then turned my account over to a collection agency. I sent an email to their media relations department along with copies to various State and Federal officials and finally got a partial response. However this person had absolutely no authority and first told me they couldn’t find my records then claimed she didn’t have to prove anything to me. All she sent were repeat copies of the bogus bills for after my service was disconnected. Then she sent a copy of my service contract that I was forced to sign and tried to say that was proof I leased the receivers. No where on the contract does it specify lease versus purchase yet this DISH person claims I only own one of the three receivers. I again sent a detailed letter disputing the charge and politely demanding they generate a bill or statement from my original installation proving I did not purchase the receivers. Again they refused to do this and once again have the accounted turned over to a collection agency. To anyone out there DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO DISH NETWORKS. They are nothing but a rip off outfit with lousy service and they don’t care about their customers. All they do is harass you for money you do not owe. I would love for this site to publish this information and let the world see what a horrible company DISH Networks is.

Greyhound sold my 60 year old husband a non-refundable ticket without informing him that when he made his connection 100 miles from home that he was not guaranteed a seat on the bus. So he was stranded in a strange town, with little cash, where he was expected to sit for 9 hours on a outside bench next to a highway in the hopes that he might get a seat on the next bus.They refused to give him his money back.
