Digital healthcare is coming our way, and we can’t stop it! As part of Obama’s health care reform, he wants to modernize digital healthcare by providing digital medical records. Will this be an easy job? Not really, considering the fact that less than 10% of all the nations 5000 hospitals aren’t equipped for this type of digital healthcare. Only a small percentage of today’s physicians currently provide digital medical records for their patients. This plan will not be cheap. Switching to an all digital healthcare system will cost
billions of dollars. And who is going to pay for all of this? Okay. So over 200,000 jobs could be created as a result of a digital health care system-but at the expense of whose wallet?

Long before the presidential election, Wal-Mart was exploring digital health care options. Wal-Mart plans to team up with Dell computers and e-clinical works for software. With this innovative program of software, hardware, and training- the need for health information technology suppliers will be cut in half. The idea presented by Wal-Mart is a money saving deal for all physicians.Wal-mart is no stranger for this technology. Since 2006, they have opened up healthcare clinics in 8 of their stores-practicing digital healthcare. Wal-Mart plans to offer digital healthcare technology to physicians at an affordable cost.

Why is there a push for digital health care? Why does our president want every American to have a digital healthcare record by the year 2014? Perhaps it’s the only way to overhaul the healthcare system. Obama claims that switching to digital healthcare would save billions of dollars and perhaps create thousands of jobs in a suffering economy. Can moving to digital healthcare really lead to fewer mistakes? While Obama claims that a digital healthcare system could lower health care costs for Americans, there are others who may not agree. The cost for upgrading to a digital healthcare system could cost a doctor or small practice as much as 124,000. And then throw in the costs for maintaining the system and it may not be worth the money poured into it.

And here’s major concern-patient privacy. How safe is your personal information if all of it is stored on a computer? Is having a digital healthcare system worth the risk of someone who shouldn’t be snooping reading all of your personal and medical history? How safe and secure would our information be if we were forced to use a digital healthcare system? A hospital recently fired 15 of their
employees for reading digital healthcare records-illegally. Without the proper protection, our privacy would definitely be infringed upon. A digital health care system with digital medial records could be a good thing, but it could also turn sour. There is much controversy over the idea of digital healthcare. Although it seems to work for Wal-Mart, that doesn’t mean all Americans will
buy into this. And just how much money will taxpayers have to pay for this new system? Will taxes be raised? Only time
will tell.

****ALL MEDICAL RECORDS WILL BE PROVIDED**** PLEASE HELP**

    PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL:

Dear WAL-MART Organization-This is written from the bottom of my heart-Please take the time to read it.

Hello, How are you? This is an important and genuine request. I hope that you will take the time to read thoroughly through this letter as it is very important. My name is Ashley and I live with my family- mom, dad, and brother in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I was wondering if you could help me. Please remember that this letter is private and confidential. We will provide proof of all medical reports. I could fax them to you or send them to you. We will provide proof of all medical reports, and a representative from your camp is more than welcome to come right to our home and meet with us.

My dad has debilitating rheumatoid arthritis. He is an electrician. This year, the doctor examined my dad’s body and health and filled out a form stating that he can no longer continue working. Rheumatoid arthritis has taken a toll on my dad’s feet, legs, back and especially his hands. His hands have become deformed quite a bit and most of the joints in his hands are badly damaged. If you could see my dads hands, you would wonder how he keeps on working or how he can even drive a car. Because of rheumatoid arthritis, my dad is unable to do barely any work now. Therefore he can’t pay the bills. My mom has been working at Mcdonald’s for the last 18 years, which doesn’t pay a lot of money for the bills. When you follow up with me, I will give you the phone and address at the Mcdoanld’s that my mom has been working and they will verify that my mom has been working there for the last 18 years. You see the only reason my mom works at Mcdonald’s is now that she has been working there a long time, she’s got medical coverage for my brother. My brother is 32 years old and he has schizopherenia. He was first diagnosed in 1998 with schizopherenia. It’s been like 15 years, since he got Schizopherenia. I don’t know how to describe it, but our life seems like hell. My dad has rheumatoid arthritis, my brother has schizopherenia, I also have depression(ocd) and my mom has also developed blood pressure because of all the worry in the house, she also has high cholesterol and I think it’s time she should take it easy. Being the only daughter, I have also been helping pay the bills. The thing is early in january, I also developed a sudden onset of painfull joint pains and terrible inflammation in my hands. I went to the doctor, and the doctor says these are signs of arthritis. The doctor said because my dad has rheumatoid arthritis, which is hereditary, there is a very good chance I am getting it. I have been praying lots and through prayer, the inflammation comes and goes, and I really don’t know how long I can keep going to work to pay the bills, since the arthritis is quite painful, and I am still very young. I work in a retail setting and I can no longer lift heavy things, as pain envelops my hands which feel like electrical shocks up and down my hands.

My parents are both vey hard working people and they are good people, we go to church every sunday. Both my parents are very good people, and they have been working hard all their life. Being a daughter looking at them, my wish is for my parents to retire already, they have done so much all their life and it does not seem like they can afford to take it easy anytime soon. My parents have gone through so much hardship in their life, and I wish they could just retire already.
It’s very hard to see my dad suffering because of rhematoid arthritis, when he sits down he can’t get up, he can’t bend. When my dad eats food he can’t grab the spoon. My dad’s whole body looks like a skeleton, and his hands are very bony and the joints in his hands are mostly all dead. We pay the mortgage bill on a very old house. Our house is very old and it breaks down a lot. When it rains, the water drips from the ceiling to the inside. The pipes are very old in the house and there is nobody to fix it. If you could see our house on the inside, you would definitely agree that we need a healthy home.

Here’s where I need your help. I was wondering if you can help donate some financial assistance to my family. It’s not a lot to ask for, since you have been blessed with so much already and you probably donate some of your money to charities anyway. My family will provide proof of all the medical reports and paperwork stating our health problems. Feel free to come over to our home and visit my family and see for yourself that we are genuinely in need of help. We don’t need lots, but from a daughter, I just need my parents to retire and live in a healthy home. Remember my dad has rheumatoid arthritis and he can’t pay the bills anymore. I just want somebody to tell me that it is going to be okay. How much will it take to help my family, not even a fraction of what you have. Remember all medical documentation will be provided. We just need a little sunshine in our life. I am so sad. We are down to earth people and we have lived a hard life and for once I just want my family to be at ease. Please find it in your heart just to follow up with me and help a family, God will bless you. Please help, you know you can help. Wouldn’t you feel good about donating money to my family that actually do need help. Couldn’t you find it in your heart to help out this once, it can be confidential. My name is Ashley and my email address is cuddles4you@live.ca

My family and I will be so greatful if you can help.

Remember all medical coverage will be provided, if someone can please follow up with me.

Thanks for your time, With all my heart,
    Sincerely, Ashley
